The Beards lived in Avondale Estates for 50 years.
Mrs. Beard was an avid reader ( we found an autographed novel by Robert Frost and other first editions) and had lovely taste in antiques ( Stickley and others), as well as art and pottery. Quite a bit of Sterling flatware and holloware are available along with cool art and collectibles. MCM table and chairs, dainty shoe collection and much more.

Our other seller worked with an NGO in Thailand during the Vietnam war and helped refugees from Laos. She has many beautiful Hill Tribe quilts, tapestries and the most amazing batiks you may ever see. These items weren’t purchased in a tourist shop but given as gifts from the makers themselves; many of them personal friends.
