About Carlos: Carlos was a seminal figure in the late 1970s and early 1980s New Orleans music scene, known for his roles as a musician, curator, and producer. He was the resident godfather of Leisure Landing, the groundbreaking music store on Magazine Street. Carlos played with numerous influential bands including The Skinnies, The Swinging Millionaires, The Driveways, and The Front. His collaborations and productions, such as the compilation album No Experience Necessary, have left an indelible mark on the New Orleans punk rock genre.
After moving to New York City in 1987, Carlos continued his creative endeavors in music, art, and design, working with notable organizations like Microsoft and United Media. His artistic talents extended to photography, album cover design, and metaphysical arts. He later moved to Atlanta, where he continued to explore his passion for music and healing arts.
